Abilities
Through her ability to speak with the dead, Snow Spectre has been able to learn a tremendous amount from the experts of yesteryear.
This has also led to plenty of hijinks, where she convinces the souls and spirits of the departed to play pranks on friends and family.
Sure, there’s been a few nefarious uses of the skill set — spooking studio executives into giving her jobs on blockbusters and such — but wouldn’t you use it to your advantage as well?
Through her work in the paranormal, she’s had plenty of run-ins with the spookiest heroes and villains, including Macabre Mel, Talysca, Gaslamp, and other members of the Dark Legion.
Outside of the whole death gambit, Wenona’s used her Hollywood fortune to hire the best trainers in all of Tinsel Town, helping turn her into a splendid fighter. So much so, in fact, she’s been able memorize the fighting styles of those she faces.
History + Origin
Wenona Wolf sees dead people, and she’s not just an M. Night Shyamalan buff. Born in southeastern Minnesota, Wolf found stardom as a child actor, largely thanks in part to the shenanigans she helped to cause with her powers, or as she calls it — her skill set.
Outside of the ability to communicate with the dead, Wenona’s also a gifted martial artist and has photographic reflexes.
As with most other child stars, the light dwindles and she’s no longer an A-list sensation, and that’s partly why she’s turned to super heroism instead. After all, the endorsements have started to come in handy, now that the royalty checks have begun to run dry.
All that said, Snow Spectre still finds some work in straight-to-video action thrillers that are binged by B-movie fiends week in and week out. You know the types, tornadoes with killer fish in them. Serpents on planes. That kinda thing.
