Abilities

In addition to having the ability to access any place or point in time, being as old as the universe itself has some perks.

As Shepherd of the Plane, Mustru-Ratu is practically invincible — time and time again, he’s demonstrated the ability to outwit and outlive the oldest beings in existence.

With his infinite wisdom, however, comes a glaring flaw. In a moment of weakness sometime during the 5th century, he gifted a friend unfathomable magics so that he could forge the Sword of Serepytnhia.

As the Sword carries Mustru-Ratu’s own blood, it’s his one weakness in the entire universe.

History + Origin

Mustru-Ratu is the last surviving member of an ancient race with no name. His race is so ancient, it’s thought they were created with the energy from the Big Bang itself.

Seeing that it was the first race in the universe to face extinction, many have opted to call them the Cursed Ones.

As Time wore on, she recognized the need for a home for souls neither good nor evil. That’s why she and the Eternal Beings agreed to create a dimension called The Plane Eternal — a place where souls without a home could be stored for all of time.

It’s also here Time met her grizzly end at the hand of Mustru-Ratu. For you see, after waiting for milennia on the Plane alone, the Last of the Cursed managed to slit Time’s throat, bleeding her out into The Plane and making the dimension one with time and space. This allowed Mustru-Ratu to make The Plane Eternal the place where one could access any place at any time.

After killing Time, Mustru-Ratu fended off attacks from other Eternal Beings, led by Mother Justice herself.

The sides battled for thousands of years and eventually came up with a compromise — Mustru-Ratu was allowed to remain in The Plane Eternal, but he was forced to act as its shepherd and gatekeeper.

In his new role, Mustru-Ratu became a slave to the Eternal Beings, acting as their Herald so as not to upset the time stream.
