Because he was born of the universe itself, Balam draws his abilities from ancient energy sources created as a result of the Big Bang.
This grants him several superhuman powers, including access to a fire-like energy that he can blast from his hands, eyes, and mouth.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, he also has powers rooted in the manipulation of water, allowing him ice/frost blasts and the capacity for other water-related, projectile blasts.
Since heās been a student of Hell for much longer than you or I, heās also very knowledgeable of the Dark Arts and knows a thing or two about hexes and spells.
When the universe came into existence, there was Heaven and there was Hell. Though most believe God was responsible for creating Heavenās angels and Hellās demons, they came into existence after Lucifer was dispatched from the Golden City.
